I absolutely love the toy-to-life idea. The fact that kids can physically hold and touch their favorite character definitely will make it more appealing and exciting.
The game is awesome. The colors pop, the music is playful and not to mention Spyro is your wing man. Who doesn’t love Spyro?
My favorite character to play was Ambush Sensei (plant element). His giant green sword and seemingly meditative
poses is both funny and cute. Gives it a more peaceful feeling. I’m totally kidding, I don’t think any video game is peaceful when fighting enemies.
There’s so many different characters to chose from, you could definitely find yourself making many trips to your nearest game store just to collect them all. To bring your character to life in-game, you just pop them onto the portal included. Easy right? But the most exciting part is Imaginators introduced Creation Crystals. You can literally create your own creature, train it and carry it around with you in the little toy crystal! If a friend of yours has the game and you want to introduce your personally created character, you just bring the crystal with you. *Insert
excited scream here*.
Your characters powers, weapons, body design, clothing, and more can all be be edited and updated at any time through a simple menu that manages to tuck away ever so neatly not even giving away how detailed it is. You can basically customize your creation with anything you want.
Also, there’s plenty of extra gear and other things locked to Senseis of certain elements and classes. A level max that only increases as you introduce more Senseis to your game, and a little push to pay to 3D-print your Imaginators, too.
That’s an exciting new feature that brings your Imaginator to life as a toy, which is something that definitely excites me!
I’d give this game a definite thumbs up. Good job Activition. All the kids love you!
