About the Company:
The LennyLamb project can definitely be called a family business run by people fascinated by the idea of babywearing. All of our products are manufactured in our factory in Poland, where owners and employees do their best to ensure that both babies and their guardians feel safe and comfortable whilst babywearing. Our products are unique simply because people involved in creating them are unique.
About the Products:
In Europe and North America babywearing tradition is just starting to regenerate, but in many cultures, it is well known and passed down from one generation to another.
Lenny Lamb manufactures all its products in the European Union and uses 100% natural cotton with baby-safe dyes produced in Poland.
There are many kinds of baby carriers available in the babywearing world such as:
and Lenny Lamb is proud to offer many of these options on their website.
Lenny Lamb sent me two carriers, the same design in both blue, and pink – in respective sizes of Toddler and Baby.
Essentially, the sizes aren’t a huge difference, in my opinion. The hood size is what I noticed most when using an 11 month old as my model on my own self. Otherwise, the carrier fit her perfectly in both the toddler and infant size. Maybe she’s just at that perfect size cusp? Either way, I wouldn’t be worried about carriers not fitting a certain age group – they’re made to last!
As you may see, I’m not a tiny framed person at all. I’m a size 16 pant here in Canada. I was terrified that these carriers wouldn’t fit my body and I’d need the elusive extenders I’ve heard about. Do you see that slack? I had at least 12inches to 18inches left over for extra body mass to fit in. I may or may not have cried happy tears.
My friend, the Mother of my 11 month old model, has taken the Pink carrier (baby sized) and here are her photos:
At now a year old, Scarlett still fits knee-to-knee in the baby sized carrier.
I’m completely in love with these carriers and would love to work with Lenny Lamb again.
