I’ve always wanted a Clarisonic, so that set really high expectations. I saw them on the Sephora website a few years ago and just didn’t understand what they were, but I knew I wanted one.
You see, I have eczema on my face and the amount of products that I can actually use, fit on my half of the one shelf of the above-the-toilet organizer in the bathroom.
I’ve found great products with Biotherm (love them!) but when using them to clean my face, I would practically go swimming in the basin, and flood the bathroom. Washing your face is sooo not like in the commercials where the actress just casually splashes her makeup laden face with water.
A thought about Clarisonic that I had before I owned one was that the bristles would hurt my face.
I have a brush with bristles. I use it to scrub the grout in my shower. Uhhh-huh! This seems painful.
Then I tried it.
It feels so nice on my skin. It’s like little cleaning tickles that only want to do right by your face skin.
There are two speeds, one for sensitive skin and one for normal skin. I decided to be brave and go for the normal skin option the first time I tried my Mia 2. It felt great!
For even cleansing of your face, the Clarisonic Mia 2 features a timer that pauses momentarily to tell you when it’s time to move to another part of your face. 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds on your cheeks, 10 seconds on your chin and 10 seconds over your nose.
Rechargeable • Waterproof • Made in USA
I must admit, I didn’t enjoy the cleanser that came with the Mia 2 kit. I found it made too many suds and didn’t clean as well as I would have hoped. Thankfully it was just a trial size, and I’m able to use which ever soap my heart desires.
All in all, I do enjoy the Clarisonic Mia 2 and would recommend it for everyone on your present list this holiday season.
